If you are worried about your debts, try not to panic but do
not ignore your problem. Talk to the credit card companies you
owe money to and let them know that you are having problems.
Most organisations will be more helpful if you approach them
first.
If your credit card debts have built up to such an extent that
you are having real difficultly meeting your minimum payments it is time to get help. Do it immediately, the longer you leave it the worse it gets.
There is no need go to a debt consolidation agency as there are a number of completely
free, charity based or publicly funded bodies that offer debt counselling.

They can go through all your finances, in detail and even negotiate with your lenders on your behalf if necessary.
